Radio Takeovers

About This Project

The very first KDHR Takeover was an excuse for the campus radio station to rebrand and re-market itself into the modern era. Having recently received a large grant to refurbish a new studio location, the next step was to establish a new identity with a fresh logo, modern website design, and new merchandise. Over 130 students packed their way into a bar that really only holds 70 for an event that had never happened before. KDHR Takeovers would continue to be featured from then on, showcasing student DJs and podcast hosts to create a fun atmosphere not seen on campus before. In addition to DJs performing, each Takeover would include various games and activities, numerous prizes, and would conclude with concert ticket giveaways.
