Spring Fling

About This Project

A yearly concert brought together at the request of the students, Spring Fling is an end of the year concert that has featured large-scale artists such as 2Chainz, Dom Kennedy, Waka Flocka Flame and Saweetie. My responsibilities included securing contracts with the artists, scouting locations, managing hospitality and technical riders, developing marketing strategies, overseeing ticket sales and more. The goal of this event was to answer the request of our students with a concert, while finding ways to eventually make the concert financially self-sustaining. I have worked with different organizations to help negotiate contracts and requirements for artists and have also developed contacts with outside staging and production companies to bring the event to life.
